Hey guys! WHEW.
I can't tell you how refreshing it was to go to Austin and the country to spend much needed time with my girls. We joked that we headed the "Asian Invasion" in the countryside, since they're from Hong Kong (and I'm technically 1/4 Chinese).
I took way too many photos of gorgeous landscapes, beautiful horses, hilarious roosters, learned to cook hours at a time, and shop until I literally thought I would drop on the pavement outside the outlet malls.
I'll show you what we were up to this week in photos, but while I'm so grateful and blessed, I tend to forget what's happening all over the world. Unfortunately, others live heartbreaking lives while I'm off in la la land.
Two of our dear friends are working to raise awareness of sex trafficking in Greece and are taking part in the movement to significantly lessen the crime. Here's a video explaining more about it:
I'm so thankful for everything in my life, and it's hard to imagine what others go through on a daily basis. Thankfully, there are people like Mere and Jeremiah who believe in fighting for those that need help in the world, and they do it with bravery and compassion. This is a cause that I truly think is worth the fight.
