INSPIRED BY SIMPLICITY
...and big sisters who are willing to be the source of inspiration for younger sisters. I just finished coaxing my sister into modeling a few poses for me, and I can't WAIT to illustrate her.
Isn't her slender yoga frame perfect for drawing??
She also agreed to my weird requests to balance a heavy glass vase of flowers on top of her head so that I could create a life-like version of this painting. It's so cool to see the similarities in the two. I'm excited to show you guys!

I've used my sister as a model many, many times in the past. Now we live too far away to make such things a reality. What a wonderful thing for you and your sister to do together. She is now part of your process.
