Happy Monday to you!
Well, the weekend turned out to be a combination of almost there accomplishments (i.e. our floating shelf was JUST about to go up on the wall, and we had a slight measurement issue..le sigh...it WILL work!) and total accomplishments (i.e. I finally bought a new pair of work out shoes...since like Freshman year of college).
After doing a bunch of online shopping "research," I thought I had picked out my future pair...the silver ones with pink and neon yellow below, but I accidentally ended up at some amazing shoe outlet yesterday and found these lovelies. In person, they're actually like a neon-ish reddish-orange. Talk about a pop of color on my feet...
I used to just work out in baggy ugly stuff, but you know what? It actually makes me feel better to not put on a trash bag early in the mornings. I'll just try and convince myself that I work out harder when I don't look 100% dumpy.
It's funny that I like to dress in neutrals most of the time, but when it comes to workout code, I'm all over color.
What's your style when it comes to sporty things?

I'm all about the bright colors for work out gear! New sneaks always get me motivated to hit up the gym!
I'm that girl that run in purple leggings and her boyfriend's old coaching sweater and a tuque. So stylin'.
haha, I also just bought a pair of sneakers after...3 years? (And those didn't count because they were $20 and from american eagle. haha!) Mine are gray w/neon yellow accents - love them! And cushy enough for me to do my dance cardio in them - just used them for that for the first time! :) Yay for working out and new shoes ;)
You did those nike shoes so well.
I am more of a Asia gel kayano
Sorry I keep getting cut off!
But I am tempted by the neon Nike or the plain grey...
Kristen: Me too! Hopefully I'll STAY motivated. :)
Wren: Yes! Well, you look adorable in anything, so I guess it doesn't matter!
Jess: I think we were somehow separated at birth. Lol the "don't count" shoes are always awesome. They sound so cute!
Coulda shoulda woulda: Thank you! Not my usual choice of illustration, but when I'm inspired, I just go with it. Asia gel kayano...have to look them up! Yeah, I used to be an Adidas kid, then a New Balance fan, and now Nike. As long as they're comfy! When I was at the store, I was jumping around, speed walking down the aisles, etc. to test. Ha.
I love bright, fun sneakers for working out! I just bought a pink/coral pair! Now I just need to get my butt to the gym more! ;)
