HAPPY WEEKEND

San Antonio was joking with me this morning as I ran around in this glorious fog, and I was hoping that it would stay for the entire day. The sun is peeking out of the clouds as I'm typing this, but that doesn't mean I won't be sporting my Christmas lights littering the house. Nothing like rearranging the living room to make room for the tiny lit tree while dancing around to MGMT with a buggy-eyed dog bouncing in your arms (yes, that's what I did last night).

This year, I'm SO in the holiday spirit, which usually isn't what happens before December even shows itself. It's so much more fun enjoying the mood instead of waiting until the very last minute, anyway.

Know what I mean?? Sorry I don't have a short story + illustration to share with you this Friday. Still behind on getting everything together, and I'm all tangled up in the lights.

Have the best weekend, loves!

These pictures are mmmmh, dreamy. Is that an aloe plant? In the second one?

Liz, thanks! I always freak out when the fog comes because it doesn't happen often. It is, exactly! It actually sits in this little pot connected to our mailbox, and somehow it has managed to survive for a year and a half.
