Well, I lost my phone yesterday. I found it in the recycling bin today, people. Whaa? I think it's just one of those days. Have you ever had to search for the noise coming out of (essentially) a big trash can like a worried raccoon? ...That must be because the recycling bin was right beside the trash, ha! I'm just so thankful my phone is alive!
SO! Back to business!
Two cool things. Up first is numero uno:
Do you recognize these little honeys from the top of this post? My very favorite is the Napoleon midnight snack illustration, which, by the way, I was excitedly about to show my guy when he returned from work the other day, and I accidentally saved over the illustration...with the blog post, of course. Ha! I just really need to sloooow doooown. SLOW, I say! Ah well, I like how the second illustration turned out just as much.
Number two is a very big step for me (trust me, I used to not even have texting until my senior year of college).
Oh, HI, twitter (insert fist pump)! I had tried to convince myself that I was up-to-date enough with my Facebook page, but I think it's time to explore a little bit more. I just made an account today, so I'll be trying to figure everything out.

I love that first brighter day print. So beautiful and simple. And yay twitter! I still haven't gotten the hang of it but I have found many interesting things to follow.

Oh my goodiness Danie, Here's a story I didn't tell you about the semi-death of my iphone - After I took out the two tiny screws to open up the back of the phone for drying purposes, I was so afraid I would lose the screws that I secured them to the counter top with a piece of tape. WELL, my husband found the piece of tape and started playing with it (unaware of the precious cargo it secured). I came back to the counter later that night to find half of the tape gone... somehow he pulled off the half of the tape with the screws, threw it away and left the half with nothing there.. FAIL. We knew the *tiny* screws were in the trash still, so I had to glove up, and investigate through each morsel of trash as if it contained diamond shards. After pouring through the contents twice and finging only one screw, we decided it was worth paying the $10 to buy a replacement screw online and cease digging!
HAHA, Mere!! I would have totally played with the tape also and accidentally thrown away something important...oh wait! I already did that! I can just imagine you with your gloves digging in the garbage...I know how you feel...
