OVER THE WEEKEND IN FORT WORTH

Hello, hello! How was your weekend this time around?

Like I had mentioned on Thursday, we went to Fort Worth, Texas for my brother-in-law's graduation. I can't believe how fast everything comes and goes. It was so good to see my husband's side of the family, and we made some memories that I won't forget.

Would you like to see a bit of Fort Worth? Here you go:

1 & 2: It was beautiful during the days.
3 & 4: It was gorgeous and lively during the nights.
5 & 6: Of course it was country...
7 & 8: There were bushes trimmed to look like bulls, and there were brides roaming the streets. Don't worry, they weren't like that normally...a photographer was involved. :)

9 & 10: The morning before the boy and I had to drive back to San Antonio, we enjoyed ourselves while sipping on coffee. He sat in the shade and programmed away, and I scooted myself partially under the sun and just stared around. I was supposed to be reading, but I just didn't feel like it...because...
11, 12, & 13: While we sipped, these were our views.

Is it bad that I already want to go back??

Aww! I actually grew up in Fort Worth as a kiddo! And I definitely prefer it to Dallas :p Did you have a chance to go to Sundance Square?

PS- Don't forget to stop by my blog for my week of giveaways! http://avant-garde-living.blogspot.com/

Looks like a great weekend, and sunny, too! You're making me want to go on a road trip...

Jess: I think I remember you saying that! :) You're exactly right! It's different than I remember...my brother-in-law said a lot of new stuff has been added in the last three years. After that visit, I fell in love with it. I loved Dallas when I lived there for a short while, but I really like the feel of Fort Worth. I'll definitely stop by! Thanks so much for letting me know. :)

Rosa: Ahh, it was wonderful. Just what I needed. Aren't road trips the best? Well, not including the crumpled-up-in-the-car-for-hours part, obviously.
