OVER THE WEEKEND

Texas is beginning to feel like its normal self again...as in, it is getting HOT. The dog didn't like the 'sitting in the backseat' situation and spent most of her time sticking her face in the air conditioning.

The wedding was beautiful, and the reception was ridiculously fun. Yes, we danced like nerds.

And of course, my husband and I couldn't resist stopping by in Fredericksburg (a Texas town with a German feel) for a small dinner date. Live music, breezy sunset weather, good food, German beer, and Spring blossoms makes a girl unable to complain.

Did you have a good weekend?

Rosa: Thanks, lovely! It was a good time. :) Time to be productive now!

Sarah: Thank you! It really was a pretty day for the wedding...it got up to 93 degrees, though. Oh well! Not as bad as our wedding! It was a horrible 111 degrees. Annnd part of our reception was outside, ha! Oh, you have to! It's a really small town, but people always make trips just to see Frederiscksburg. They have a little main street that connect directly to the highway in between Abilene and San Antonio, so we always love to stop there.

Abby: It was great, thank you! I completely agree with you! It felt amazing around the time we ate. Plus, they have heat lamps and huge fans, so either one is in use depending on the weather.

Pret-a-Penser: Me too! I think it used to be an old home that was converted into a restaurant. It's so historical and pretty.

Ana: Thank you so much! You are always the sweetest! I'm ALWAYS so excited to look at your posts every day!

Love your pictures! The weather looks fab! I'm a bit envious as it is so grey and cold here still in the North of Germany - I even saw a few snowflakes this morning :(

Fredricksburg and German beer, eh? Will say a silent "Prost" to you while sipping a German Pils with dinner tonight ;)

Xx.

Holly; Thank you! Oh nooo! This girl doesn't do too well in the cold. I had to look up "Prost!" Ahh, cheers to you too! :)

Ines: Thank you, Ines!! Aren't the blossoms so pretty? I almost didn't notice them until I craned my neck back and looked straight up. Well thank you so much. You're so sweet to say that!

Wow. I love the photos and the texts. Makes these simple shots look like postcard photos.

You're a dear, Wenna! :) I think I'm that person that most likely annoys photographers because I'm not skilled enough to take photos with a real camera on manual on a whim. These are my iPhone pics..oops. I'll learn! But thank you so much for your sweet compliment! You made my day.
