WEDDINGS ON THE BRAIN

So, a fellow blogger is getting married this week!! Cannot say how excited I am for her! She had asked some readers to guest post for her during her honeymoon, and I am so excited to do a post for her. You can probably tell that I usually don't get too much into my personal life on my little space on the internet, but for this post, I'm going to share my wedding experience based on budgeting and creating an entire wedding under $5,000.

If you love to read about weddings and DIY, you should head over and see upcoming post. :) I'll let you know where to go once the ball is rolling. Anyway, I was shooting my little DIY ideas that we had for our wedding, and I thought it would be fun to share the smallest sneak peek (as in only one photo).

While making the post, I got to thinking...what's your favorite style for a wedding or special occasion? Are you more on the casual and simplistic side, or do you like things elegant and detailed?

I really love seeing the amazing creativity and love put into a wedding, and it's awesome to see differing styles. Of course, the fashion and design are not the main point of a wedding, obviously. THAT is why I'm somehow always the person looking for a Kleenex. Unfortunately, I'm a crier.

I think I would tend toward weddings that are neither over-the-top glamorous, or drastically simple. I like lots of details but not a lot of fuss, if thats possible :)

I'm with you. Seeing the creativity of the couple, and the ways they make it their own, is the best.

Liz: That's very possible! :) Sounds like the way my husband and I did our wedding...some details were missed that I didn't think about, but it was still everything I could have asked for.

It really is great seeing what makes people happy!
