I adore Fiona's work over at illustrations by Fi. I think what gets me most is that silky hair. Don't the drawings make you want to reach out and touch them??
I also love that the facial features aren't completely shaded in. Such a beautiful effect, in my opinion.

Beautiful! The eyebrows are on the top sketch are so intriguing! Barely there but so delicate!

something about those drawings makes them looks sort of magical.. i think its definitely the hair. that portrait of Lana del Rey is so realistic looking
Janell: That's a perfect way to describe them. I agree! I always appreciate realistic art, but sometimes I'm not drawn to realism just because the piece is such an exact representation of the subject. Fiona's drawings, on the other hand, bridge the gap of realism and fiction. I love it!
