WORK IN PROGRESS + SENTIMENTAL THINGS

For one of my latest drawings, I want to incorporate just a touch of pastels. My aunt gave me this set after she found them in 2000. Guess what?? They used to be my dad's, and my aunt thought would like them. She was right, you know! Talk about something sentimental.

I'm thinking about only adding a flush of pink to her cheeks after I add markers and pen, but I might have to incorporate a bit of the orange. I just love that combination of colors. On a somewhat related note to color, did any of you ever have to wear braces? When I had mine, I would always get the bands to be orange and pink. You have to make your mouth colorful somehow, I guess.

I actually added some extra marker and pen last night to this little lady, but here she was beforehand:

Once I add a bit of color, I'll have to show you the finished piece soon!

Do you have anything you're sentimental about?

Sonia: Estoy tan emocionada de agregar poco estallidos de color a ella! Creo que voy a seguir este dibujo sencillo, pero voy a tener que hacer un dibujo a todo color en breve. :)

She's gorgeous...I left her image on my computer for a while as I picked up around the room, it was nice to glance at the screen and look at her.

Danie, you are so talented!

I'm sentimental about pretty much everything. And thank you so much for your kind comment this morning. It was so thoughtful and I really appreciate it.
